The Santa Eufémia Covilhã Hotel, inaugurated in 1985, by then designated Residencial Santa Eufémia, counting with room and breakfast service and a capacity for approximately 180 guests in different types of rooms.
The unit revealed itself capable of serving the business and leisure market that flowed to Covilhã, then in a time of enormous economic and social development, with the University of Beira Interior just a step away and later all the expansion area of the city with the new avenues, the Hospital centre and the shopping centre that boosted the whole area around the Hotel. |
Having undergone its first refurbishment in 2004, it resumes its leadership in the budget accommodation segment, mainly oriented towards companies and leisure for short stays.
In 2020 it closes for a total refurbishment and gains new features, namely a wellness area with gym, sauna and Turkish bath and also a fully equipped meeting room of 35 m2.
It reopened in June 2021, offering several types of rooms, fully equipped and prepared for the current levels of comfort requirements such as flat screen TV’s, led reading lights, independent air conditioning and contemporary decoration. |
